New toys in Room 11

We are very fortunate to have received two gifts recently.  Firstly Chris's brother made us some fantastic new sensory boards. They are covered in a range of textures such as sandpaper, fake grass, rope, fluffy fabric and corrugated cardboard.

Everyone enjoys exploring all the different feelings on them. Kereama decided to line them up and make a bumpy road for his car to drive across.

Then on Friday a teacher assistant in another class asked us if we would like a wooden train that used to belong to her son. We said 'yes!' Everyone in Rm11 loves trains and it fits so well with our transport topic this term too. Check out these photos of Kereama and Bailey Rose play with it. A big thank you to Robyn for her kind donation.
