Week 4

There have been so many fun and awesome things happening this week that it is hard to know what to post! (It is also hard to find time to post as we have been so busy!)
Here are a few highlights...

Fun in the playground:
William loves the roundabout
Kereama and William shared the seesaw at lunchtime

On Tuesday we went on a 'sensory explore' at New Brighton Beach. We saw, smelled, touched and heard lots of different things. When we got back to school we made a book about it all.
Tyler found a piece of driftwood

And finally, as part of our Senses topic - this week has been 'sight' week. We have tried on crazy glasses, played with the light box, and made some binoculars.

Kereama goes to RDA

This term Kereama is lucky enough to be going to RDA (Riding for the Disabled) on Mondays.  This week he went along with Chris and met a horse called Patsy. He was very gentle when he touched her.

Hopefully next week he will be able to ride on one of them! I wonder what the horse's name will be...

Swimming

Today we had our first swimming session of the year. William & Kereama had a fantastic time at Burwood Hospital Hydrotherapy pool with Liz & Chris.
